BUT

The Bachelor of Technology in Business and Administration Management is a technological training program that combines theoretical knowledge and professional skills in a truly professional university course. The course covers key areas such as accounting, management control, human resources management, project management and entrepreneurship.

The BUT GEA (Bachelor of Technology in Business and Administration Management) is a bac+3 diploma (180 ECTS- grade de licence) combining university training and professionalization.

It is organized over 6 semesters (3 years), including lectures, practical work, tutored projects and an internship (22-26 weeks).

Courses starting in 2ᵉ year (initial and apprenticeship) :

  • Accounting, tax and financial management (GC2F)
  • Management control and performance management (CG2P)
  • Human resources management and steering (GPRH)
  • Management, entrepreneurship and business management (GEMA)

Professionally-oriented pedagogy: internship or work-study possible from 2nd year, projects, etc.

After the BUT GEA, students can look forward to continuing their studies or entering the workforce.

Learning outcome targets

The aim of the B.U.T. GEA is to train students to become rapidly operational, capable of assuming supervisory and leadership roles, mainly in the fields of business management, human resources and accounting/management control.

The program aims to develop a solid foundation of general culture, combined with technical knowledge in fields such as accounting, finance, taxation, law, management, marketing, human resources, economics and entrepreneurship. Skills include managerial decision-making, analysis of organizational processes, evaluation of performance criteria, establishment of legal, tax and accounting procedures, human resources management, project management and the development of critical analysis.
